Without the changing leaves and sun sitting lower in the sky, you'd never guess it was fall. We've had hotter days in September than most of the summer and kids are loving getting outside for Forest Play. Our Friday programs filled quickly and we only have a few spots left on Mondays and Wednesdays. We've built forts, harvested rose hips, tested our balance on logs and generally had a blast enjoying the extended summer. We're feeling grateful for the weather and all the families who have made Forest Play a part of their fall schedule!
Following massive flooding, summer has begun in Canmore! We just finished running the Chickadee (4-6 yr olds) and Raven (6-10 yr old) summer camps and had an amazing time playing games, sharing stories, carving, enjoying some wild edibles (strawberries and paintbrush) and enjoying the mud and water!
Almost all our programs are now full, but we still have space in the Bear camp (6-10 yr olds) at the end of August - check our website for more details. We'll also be getting our line-up of fall programs posted on the website soon!
We're getting an increasing number of requests from parents, teachers and others interested in nature connection for some adult workshops. We love sharing our passion for nature connection mentoring and are happy to offer some programs in June for adults.
